GC: First of all thank you for offering us this interview. For starters, what's the storyline in the upcoming Fallout 3?

PH: Well, the storyline takes place 6 years after the events of Fallout 2, it tells the story of an unknown hero who wakes up in a prison. With no clue of his identity he must carve his own way and choose his destiny, to be a warrior, a thief, a mage um... I mean sniper, etc. During the storyline the president of the "Enclave" is asassinated, with nobody left to candidate, the Earth is invaded by a alien species known has the Diedre (pronounced Dydre?), it's up to you to find a new president and fight back the invading Diedre

GC: The skill system from Fallout 2 is regarded has the best example of RP gaming ever, what skill system will Fallout 3 use?

PH: We plan to change the list to 21 skills, each 7 skills focus either on melle, range or stealth combat.

GC: From what perspective will Fallout 3 be played?

PH: First person and third person, you can toggle between them

GC: Dialog was amongst Fallout 2's strong points, how will the dialog be elaborated here?

PH: It's all voiced, we have a large cast crew of famous voices, amogst which is Patrick Stewart

GC: You mentioned Patrick Stewart above, what role will he play in the game

PH: He's the president of the "Enclave", who is asassinated at the start of the game while the player is atempting to escape the prison, in his dying breath he will give the player an amulet which stores a cip contaning his DNA, Dental Records and Biography info.

GC: Who are the Diedre?

PH: They are an alien race ruled by their demigod Lord Mechtunes Zagon. They are the invading foes of the human race

GC: On which platforms will the game be released?

PH: PC and Xbox360

GC: And the final question that we all were waiting for, when is the official release date?

PH: Hollidays 2006

OMG! transforma Fallout 3 in Elder Scrolls... incepi jocul scapand din inchisoare, si sa fie si mai nasol moare presedintele Enclave???  rasa extraterestra pe nume Diedre?? de ce suna atat de familiar??

Mie nu-mi suna deloc bine combinatia Bethesda si Fallout. Avand in vedere ca si-au ruinat seria TES, cu care ei insisi facusera istorie, ma intreb ce-ar putea face din Fallout. Mai ales ca universul din Fallout mi se pare chiar mai predispus "micilor" modificari din ratiuni comerciale decat cel din TES... :hmm:

Poate si-au invatat lectia cu oblivion si se vor baza pe un storyline mai bun...poate au inspiratia sa dea un telefon la obsidian/bioware...doamne ajuta :D

Yep... astea da vesti bune.
Fallout era doomed de cand s-a destramat Black Isle, ce sa o mai dam pe dupa colt ca astia de la Bethesda or sa faca treaba buna. Whatever.... Poate sa apara si pe Playstation 3 dupa mine si pe Terminator daca se poate. Ala nu e Fallout.

Ce ma ca va fii tare!
It will be 1st person 3D game with fucking, stunning, freaking graphics using SpeedTree and of course Radiant AI v 2.5a. Real time figthing combos and dump converstion sistem will be available too.  :idiot:

Am zis-o si o mai zic Bethesda nu va fii in stare sa faca un joc Fallout care sa se ridice la inaltimea predecesorilor.

Daca Altar au reusit sa ruineze X-Com, Bethesda vor face si ei aceeasi treaba cu Fallout. ;)
