Am jucat o groaza de simulatoare in spatiu: Elite, Descent, Freelance, Starlancer ... si ceva online de genul asta in care "space battle-urile" se dau intre jucatori ar fi chiar foarte fun si chalenging... Oricum jocul este foarte complex: cu trading interplanetar, aliante, research-uri etc.

@3 Probabil le poti denumi again faza cu eu nu am jucat , iar construction time e influeentst de skilluri la care poti face traning offline da adica tu stai bine MS si te uiti la TV sau esti la munca si unu sau mai multe skilluri(sau toate) nu stiu sigur cresc incontinuu, oricum ca sa ai toate skillurile la maxim iti trebuie 2 ani de joc iar in 2 ani apar skilluri noi si asa mai departe

Reader's Choice Favorite Company: CCP Games


The Icelandic-MMO company got off to a good start by taking favorite company in what some might consider a surprise. The developer's of EVE Online have long established themselves a driven and focused company who deals well with their fans and the media. The popularity of their flagship title EVE Online also didn't hurt their chances.

EVE Online is a space-set sci-fi MMORPG set in a future where humans colonized other galaxies through a wormhole. Years later the wormhole collapsed and the citizens of the EVE universe were left severed forever from their home galaxy. Civilizations collapsed and were rebuilt at the time players enter the game.

CCP Games faced stiff competition from the likes of Blizzard, Cryptic, Mythic and Turbine, but came away with a strong 44% of the overall vote from our readers. The strong showing is a bit of a surprise when the popularity of Blizzard's World of WarCraft is taken into account, but given EVE Online has long been the top hyped game on our site, the surprise is minimal.

Could the sweep be on? This jaw-dropping MMORPG's win is made even more astounding by the fact that the game launched in 2003. Despite its age, no one - in the eyes of our readers - has come close to matching the visual beauty of EVE Online's spaceships, stars, UI and overall visual appeal.

EVE Online places all players in a single universe to harvest materials, fight pirates, complete missions and generally explore their picturesque universe. Clearly, the reader's of MMORPG.com appreciate the effort they put forth as this win makes EVE two for two so far in the awards. The game, which was up for four of seven possible awards, has a chance to be the most decorated MMORPG this year.

In this category, EVE managed to take just over half the vote. World of WarCraft, based off its immense popularity and wonderful art-direction, placed second with 19%. EverQuest II's technical excellence earned them 15%, while Lineage II and Star Wars Galaxies garnered nine and four percent respectively.

We did not originally nominate them, but the fans wrote to us en masse and thus EVE Online went up for it in a special one-week run off. This vote demonstrated we were clearly mistaken with our original nominees as EVE Online nailed down 55% of the total vote in a three-game category.

What else is there to say about EVE? They've already picked up three awards, and they were only originally nominated for two of the categories we've handed out so far. Fans of the game cite massive armada battles, pirate-hunting and the game's fluid PvP-zone system as the reasons it is a cut above the rest.

Guild Wars and Dark Age of Camelot emerged from the original category, which also included City of Heroes / Villains, Lineage II and Shadowbane. The latter three did not garner enough votes to continue on, while DAoC and Guild Wars both tied at 22% in the finals.

Reader's Choice Best Game: EVE Online, CCP Games


No big shock here. The big winners today are the guys in Iceland behind EVE Online. They took this category despite stiff competition and record subscriber numbers from World of WarCraft. The game - which has also long been our top user rated MMORPG at 8.4 out of 10 - continues to strike a chord and set new concurrent users records since its launch in 2003.

It won best graphics. It won best company. It won best PvP. How could it not win best game? I believe the awards speak for themselves when it comes to this title.

EVE took the category with 40% of the total vote. Blizzard's World of WarCraft made it interesting as they picked up 31% in this two horse race. Guild Wars chimed in with 13%, City of Heroes / Villains nabbed 8% and Dark Age of Camelot rounded out the field with 5%.

We thank all the thousands of people who let their voice be heard in this year's voting and hope you stick with us throughout the year so we can do it again next year. Will EVE be able to defend its crowns? We'll find out!

daca va intrebati de ce e acest post la categoria Eve online .. well pt ca eu tin cu Eve si  a castigat aproape tot oricum

Deci ceva noi jucatori de Eve.
Recent m-am apucat de el si e really heavy shit acolo![in sensul bun...deci nu interpretati gresit].
Jocul nu este neaparat genial de complex,dar este genial din punct de vedere al libertatii pe care o ai.
E greu pentru incepatori sa treaca peste acel sentiment de genul :"doamne,ce greu e sa faci 3 lei." dar pe urma satisfactiile cresc.
Si mai este inca o varianta de plata.
Cea cu bani virtuali dar suma necesara(si anume 270 milion ISK) e greu de adunat chiar si pentru jucatori de peste 2-3 luni.
Jocul merita iar satisfactiile sunt pe masura.
Noroc.
